Count the right things
One opening may contain several panes and components.
Share a rough count, note French panes or divided glass, and say whether screens and tracks are part of the request. Photos help with unusual windows but are not required to start.
- Interior, exterior or both
- Screens and tracks included or separate
- High, difficult or restricted-access glass
Access matters
Safe reach is part of the scope.
Furniture, landscaping, rooflines, balconies and interior obstacles can affect equipment and timing. Flag them during quoting rather than on arrival.
- Clear reachable interior sills
- Mention locked or limited-access areas
- Identify fragile items near the glass
Set the finish expectation
Glass condition can limit the result.
Mineral deposits, failed seals, scratches, paint and construction debris are different from ordinary soil. Inspection separates routine cleaning from specialty restoration or permanent damage.
- Point out hard-water or construction residue
- Do not confuse failed seals with surface dirt
- Review representative panes after cleaning
